Hotel Description
As the largest vegan hotel in Germany, the ahead burghotel is located in the heart of the UNESCO biosphere reserve Flusslandschaft Elbe in Lenzen. The focus here is not only on relaxation and recreation, but also on consistent sustainability and ecology.
The five-acre castle garden provides space for four buildings and numerous quiet retreats. Sun loungers and hammocks invite you to relax in the greenery. Yoga sessions and meditations are held regularly in the tea house with underfloor heating.
The rooms and suites in the castle and in the historic castle school are equipped with ecological furniture and exude a warm purist atmosphere. If you prefer something more luxurious, you can opt for the ahead junior suite or the deluxe rooms.
Vegan breakfast is served in the winter garden. In the restaurant place to V there is a lunch menu as well as dinner. Coffee and cake taste best on the sun terrace in warm weather. The menu does not contain any animal products and on the plate are mainly organic products from the region.
Daily yoga and meditation classes, massages or a visit to the hotel’s sauna ensure a feel-good stay.
Those who want to actively explore the surrounding nature can rent bamboo bicycles and e-bikes. Directly at the hotel you can also start canoe or SUP tours on the river Löcknitz. The hotel regularly becomes a venue for concerts, readings or open-air cinema.
