The environmentally friendly organic and design hotel Almodóvar in the district Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg was opened in July 2012. It offers its guests free Wi-Fi and bicycle rental.
All 60 rooms of different categories are modernly furnished with rosewood furniture. Amenities include a flat-screen TV, iPod docking station and computer. A yoga mat and beanbag are also available. Some rooms have a balcony.
Bistro Bardot specializes in creative vegetarian cuisine and uses only basic products from organic production.
The wellness and spa area with sauna offers a panoramic view over the roofs of Berlin. Here, hotel guests relax after an exciting day in the capital with Ayurvedic and aroma massages, shiatsu or beauty treatments.
The hotel is only a ten-minute walk from the Frankfurter Allee S-Bahn, U-Bahn and train stations. The flea market on Boxhagener Straße and the popular Simon-Dach-Straße are also within walking distance. You have to allow about fifteen minutes for the streetcar ride to Alexanderplatz. 30 minutes by car separate the hotel from Tegel Airport.
