Opened in January 2010 in a new building, this four-star superior hotel is located right next to Messe Essen in the popular Rüttenscheid district and offers its guests free Wi-Fi throughout the building.
The stylishly furnished rooms feature individually controlled air conditioning, Internet access and tea and coffee making facilities. A flat-screen TV with free Sky channels and a bathroom with walk-in shower or bathtub are also included.
On the top floor of the hotel is a 250-square-meter wellness and fitness area with a rooftop terrace, where hotel guests can work out on modern cardio equipment or relax in three saunas.
The elegant Cuxx restaurant serves regional and international specialties – in fine weather also on the sun terrace. Freshly tapped beer, snacks and cocktails are on the menu at the Cuxx Bar, which has an open fireplace. The vinotheque in the basement is one of the best wine cellars in the region.
Just a two-minute walk from the Messe Ost subway station, the ATLANTIC Congress Hotel Essen is well connected to public transportation. The Grugapark with its network of walking and cycling paths, the Museum Folkwang and the Philharmonie Essen are within easy walking distance. Düsseldorf can be reached by car via the A52 in twenty minutes.
