Hotel Description
The organic non-smoking house Öhrlein is located in Mainleus-Rothwind in the upper Main valley. Only pollutant-free materials were used in the construction of the house, which meets building biology criteria, and measures were taken to reduce electrosmog.
Guests can enjoy a varied organic breakfast in their apartment, in the garden or on the terrace. In the evening, the hosts serve a hearty snack on request.
The heart of the extensive garden is a 200 square meter swimming pond. From there, it’s just a few steps to the barrel sauna with waterfall shower and the relaxation hut. Guests enjoy spending their free time on the spacious sunbathing lawn or at the barbecue area, which can be used all year round. Children can let off steam in the playground with its slide, swings and large sandpit. Or they can make the acquaintance of the farm’s own ponies, chickens and guinea pigs.
Active vacationers often use their stay to pedal along the Main Cycle Path or to go on long hikes through the nearby Franconian Forest Nature Park, the Fichtel Mountains or Franconian Switzerland. For those interested in culture, the highlights of the region include Kulmbach, ten kilometers away, and the Wagner city of Bayreuth.
