The following information about the vegan options comes directly from the hotel.
The family-run wellness hotel at the Notschreipass is located in the middle of the Black Forest between Feldberg and Belchen and welcomes its guests with a very familiar atmosphere.
All 28 modern rooms furnished in Nordic/forest flair style have a flat-screen TV, minibar and electric kettle. Upon arrival, guests are provided with a wellness bag with bathrobe, sauna towels and bath slippers. In the whole house there is free wifi for the guests.
In the nature spa, guests relax in the panoramic indoor pool, sauna or infrared salt stone cabin. In summer, enjoy the wellness garden with Kneipp fountain and barefoot path. Services in the wellness area include massages, baths and beauty treatments.
The restaurant serves in three guest rooms. Guests can choose between the cozy Hubertus Lounge, which invites guests to linger in the evening, the bright Max Asal Stube or the friendly terrace restaurant, whose walls are adorned with modern works of art. Guests can indulge in the regional forest cuisine or the daily changing Vital Vegan menu. The breakfast buffet has a vegan corner with homemade spreads, vegan milk selection and vegan scrambled eggs. Also for the hunger in between there is always fresh vegan cake or small vegan dishes on the vesper menu.
With a children’s playground as well as children’s playroom, pool table, foosball and table tennis, the hotel will delight even the younger guests.
In winter, the Notschreilift is in operation directly opposite the hotel. Around the hotel start great cross-country ski trails with alpine panorama. Snowshoe hikers also get their money’s worth at the Waldhotel, great snowshoe trails start in the surrounding area, free snowshoes can be rented at the reception.
Located in the middle of a largely untouched forest landscape, the hotel is a good base for excursions to the Vosges or to Freiburg, Basel or Strasbourg. Beautiful hiking routes lead in the area around the Titisee or on the Schauinsland. The Europapark Rust can be reached in only one hour by car.
